| Registration requirements: |
|
| 1. Student must be an Omani national. |
|
| 2. Student should not be working in government or private sector. |
|
| 3. Student must pass the General Education Diploma examination or its equivalent in school years (2006/2007 to 2013/2014) and must be eligible to compete on the announced programs. |
|
| 4. Student must not be enrolled in any private higher education institution (funded by government) in the Sultanate of Oman. |
|
| 5. For grants provided by the private higher education institutions (HEIs), they will cover fees only, and will not include accommodation, transportation, and living costs |
|
| 6. Grants provided by PDO will cover fees and a monthly allowance. |
|
| 7. For grants provided by private HEIs, the place of study and specialization cannot be changed. |
